The Pigeon And The Bomb
One day the pigeon met the bomb and facing each other started a debate in the planet. All peoples asked in a world-wild audience. Who will win? The peace or the war?
The bomb said: - I was invented by men, I was perfected by science, I became famous by the nuclear technology. I am fast and poisonous. If just a little bottom is pressed, I will explode the world.
The pigeon replied: - I was created by God, nature is my home, the sky and the land is the open space where I live in with freedom. My fly is smooth and perennial, my wings spread like a heart full of deep love.
The bomb wanted to beat the pigeon and attacked it by saying: - I am on the scientists' and studious' mind, I am in the secret plans of the mafia, I am under the domination of the powerful countries. I am a weapon that can not be substituted and would destroy a continent in fraction of seconds.
The pigeon answered kindly: - I am on the mind of the just men and children, I am in the heart of the small and poor people, I am the flag of the peaceful movements, I am the symbol of the piece and a brotherhood among the men. I am docile like a flower, everyone who gets me, will smell my perfume forever.
The bomb became furious and insisted: - I am the right death. I am invincible. I am a mortal hurricane. Nothing can challenge me. I make up the leaders mind by inciting nations to rise against nations, I kill the beauty, I turn heaven to hell.
The pigeon answered wisily: - I am the complete life. I am love, fair, an endelesse horizon, the new world is planned on me. I am the sun that gives light and heat to people, I am the sun that gives light and heat to people, I am that brightens up the darkness of line, because my shine is eternal.
The bomb couldn't admit it's lost and insisted again: - I am the product of the armaments industry, the profit purpose of the capitalist system, I cause violence and oppression.
The pigeon spread it's wings and replied: - I am the fruit of a community tree, I am the wheat of the equalitarian society and I form a communion living.
The weak bomb insisted useless: - Do you think that I am alone? I will destroy all the world with million of the other bombs stored in many arsenals.
The pigeon solidifield its victory by saying: - I am not the only one in the world. There are million of missionary pigeons, there are thousands of pilgrims and beginners evangelizing the nations, disarming the world in order to feed the people. There won't be any more wars. The peace will reign over the world.
At that moment the bomb dissolved itself in front of the pigeon that was stronger. It's life victory over death. It's the end of the war. It's peace in the world.
